چکیده

Aim. The aim of the study was to evaluate long-term results implantation domestic endocardial leads (EL) with active fixation ELBI 233C-53 and 233C-58, implanted in atrial ventricular positions, respectively. Methods. A total 165 patients were included retrospective, single-center study. 239 EL from 2016 2018 (55 184 233C-58). median age 78 years (43 92 years). 846 programming protocols analyzed, which carried out on 1st day after implantation, then every 6 months. Complications are divided into early (1-7 days) late (8 days or more). Results. In group, there no statistically significant changes pacing parameters during observation period. There complications (10.9%): exit block (n=1, 1.8%), dislocation (n=3, 5.4%), damage structure (n=2, 3.7%). number reoperations 3 (5.4%). 233C-58 a increase threshold found (p=0.026). 13 (7.0%) registered, including an (n=11.6%), 0.5%), 0.5%). this group 2 (1%). Conclusion. demonstrated acceptable safety observation. occurred mainly first year implantation. repeated operations low. deaths caused by lead

Long-term performance of transvenous, steroid-eluting, high impedance, passive-fixation ventricular pacing leads.

The long-term performance of two high impedance, steroid-eluting, passive-fixation ventricular leads, porous platinum iridium electrode CPI Selute Picotip 4035 (131 patients), and platinized platinum electrode Medtronic Capsure Z 5034 (57 patients), was compared with one conventional 8.0-mm2 porous platinum iridium electrode CPI Selute 4285 (38 patients). The mean follow-up period was 28 +/- 14...

A long-term, prospective, cohort study on the performance of right ventricular pacing leads: comparison of active-fixation with passive-fixation leads

Active-fixation pacing leads allow the use of selective pacing sites. We evaluated their long-term performance versus passive-fixation leads in 199 newly implanted patients (n = 100 active and n = 99 passive). Postoperative pacing thresholds in the active group were higher than in the passive group (0.85 ± 0.31 V vs. 0.53 ± 0.21 V at baseline, P < 0.001). The active thresholds fell to 0.72 ± 0....

Long-term temporary pacing with an active fixation lead.

BACKGROUND Ensuring a haemodynamically effective cardiac rhythm is a challenge in patients waiting for pacemaker reimplantation after transcutaneous lead extraction due to an infection of the implanted system. AIM The authors report a retrospective analysis of temporary pacing with an active fixation lead (AFTP) connected to an externalised pacemaker in patients after transvenous lead extract...

Targeted left ventricular endocardial pacing using a steerable introducing guide catheter and active fixation pacing lead.

AIMS Cardiac resynchronization therapy via the coronary sinus (CS) is not always possible. Left ventricular (LV) endocardial lead placement is a potential alternative. The purpose of this study was to assess the feasibility of endocardial LV pacing using a steerable lead introducer and active fixation polyurethane lead. METHODS AND RESULTS Endocardial LV lead placement was attempted in nine p...

Prolonged temporary cardiac pacing using subcutaneous tunnelled active-fixation permanent pacing leads.

Temporary transvenous cardiac pacing is occasionally required for prolonged periods, particularly in patients with severe infection and bradyarrhythmias who may need several weeks of antibiotic treatment before a permanent pacemaker can be safely implanted. Prolonged temporary transvenous pacing is frequently associated with complications such as local or systemic infection, lead displacement, ...
